BLK Rose Productions is the creation of two individuals passionate about the entertainment industry, united by a single mission: to provide exceptional event experiences that leave a lasting impression on the NYC Black community.
We produce comedy shows, free outdoor events, fundraisers, and faith-based productions — all designed to bring quality live entertainment directly into Brooklyn and Queens neighborhoods, accessible and affordable for the communities that call it home.

Hervé
Bertrand
Hervé Bertrand is a Brooklyn native with a Haitian-American heritage that shapes every event he produces. Born and raised in Bed-Stuy, he brings an insider's understanding of Brooklyn's culture, community, and pulse to everything BLK Rose does.
His 15+ years in NYC's premier nightlife and hospitality industry — spanning venues like the Jane Hotel, La Esquina, and Discolo — gave him an instinct for creating spaces where people feel welcome, valued, and treated like they belong. That instinct became the foundation of BLK Rose.
Hervé also served as Events Manager for the Caribbean Cup, an internationally acclaimed local soccer league, where he produced matches and sponsored events for up to 2,000 attendees. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from Brooklyn College — and it shows in how naturally he connects communities, comedians, sponsors, and fans.
His proudest moment: the sold-out Haitian comedy show where he ended the night by handing out Haitian flags to an audience that didn't just laugh together — they celebrated who they were together.
